Dying Fetus - Stop At Nothing.

Your band quits, leaving you on your own after signing with THE premier extreme metal label. Time to give up right?…

If you're John Gallagher, you recruit four new guys and smash out 'Stop At Nothing', a tech-death classic that hits harder than a manhole cover to the teeth.

'Schematics' kicks off with furious sweeping riffs, John Gallagher is heroic on guitar, quickly switching from shred to sledge-like beatdown with ease. The drums power the nightmare, Eric Seyenga has foot speed to spare. 'One Shot, One Kill' comes next and it's catchy DM, vocalist Vince Matthews shares the duties with John and he has an ugly, bruising quality to his delivery, it works so well.

Mike Kimball is on second guitar and he's no slouch, 'Abandon All Hope' has that stomping riff that is just *chefs kiss*. Lastly but by no means least, Sean Beasley is on bass and would eventually not only take up the second vocalist spot but also become the core of the band's lineup.

'Stop At Nothing' is a relentless statement of intent, it's squalid and crass, ugly and misshapen and we honestly think that's the point. This record feels like walking down the wrong alley at night and feeling like you are in deep trouble, the threat of imminent violence very real unless you get the hell out of there. It's a thrill ride!
